Getting ready for thanksgiving and randy is getting to come home!!!
6 days until he is here, I can't wait, this has been our longest separation (11 weeks, 3 days), even longer than basic training and neither one was especially enjoyable. Right now all the prep work has been handed over to me since he still has to finish AIT and I am working a flexible schedule. Planning a move, a graduation, an anniversary and trying to keep all the wheels greased and running smoothly while 1000 miles apart.
Preparations for Thanksgiving are underway with the meal planned. Now I am just adding a few special things for Randy!!! no hints or reveals....he reads this too! I am making green bean bundles with peppered bacon and curry pumpkin soup and Randy will be participating (aka - be the taste tester and stir). Since he hasn't cooked for 6 months his culinary skills are a little rusty.
Prepping for the move to Ft. Campbell, Kentucky just got started this week. I have a calendar with specific tasks to do each day, to make it less daunting but it really isn't working. Trying to make a quick trip up there to look at houses in December but not sure if that can be added to the schedule or not as of right now.
Trying to think of something fun to do for our 4th anniversary! I can't believe it has been that long! Been thinking of adding something on to the house hunting trip.
